Monfa B&B is a 4 Star bed and breakfast in Bala, part of the Snowdonia National Park, in beautiful North Wales.
We’re only 300 metres from Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) and 500 metres from the centre of historic Bala.
Helen and Ron promise you a warm friendly welcome, a comfortable, well equipped room and a delicious breakfast. We use locally sourced produce where possible to give you a breakfast which will set you up for the day.
As well as being surrounded by stunning countryside, Bala has a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, all within a gentle stroll of our home. There’s also a small cinema and a leisure centre in town. Just outside town is the Bala narrow gauge railway (Rheilffordd Llyn Tegid), adventure and water sports facilities.
Bala is within the Snowdonia National Park with its spectacular mountains, beautiful green valleys, heather-clad moorlands with a wealth of flora and fauna. You could try your hand at sailing, white water rafting, rock climbing, walking, cycling, quad biking, pony trekking, paintballing and kayaking. And even canyoning! Or, for a more relaxing experience, there are some beautiful drives nearby amongst stunning scenery.
