Wild Wednesday – Flower Power at RSPB Lake Vyrnwy Nature Reserve

Details: Plant a sunflower seed or make a wildflower bomb to take home and watch it grow! We’ll be going on a wonderful wildflower walk, what will we see? We’ll also be making a plant-tastic sun hat! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring lunch with you or there is a cafe opposite.

A day with Alice the Little Welsh Engine at Bala Lake Railway

Railway Event: Sat 27 Jul 2019 – trains depart Llanuwchllyn at 11:00am, 12:45pm, 2:20pm and 3:55 pm

DETAILS: Coming along and meet “Alice the Little Welsh Engine” from Pauline Hazelwood’s beautiful children’s book. Pauline the author will be at Llanuwchllyn station reading some of the stories, demonstrating how she draws the characters an involving the children in activities as well as signing books.
